NATIONAL REIKI AWARENESS WEEK

NATIONAL REIKI AWARENESS WEEK
19th-25th May 2008
Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive form of hands on healing which promotes relaxation, relieves pain and reduces stress. Reiki restores harmony and balance to the body’s energy field, supporting good health and well-being
Did you know:
·         Reiki is now practised in hospitals, palliative care, hospices, addiction centres, nursing homes, as well as in private health centres?
·         There are now over 1,000,000 Reiki practitioners worldwide?
·         During pregnancy both mother and baby can benefit from regular Reiki treatments?
·         Animals too can benefit from this gentle healing therapy?
In 2005 ARC organised the First ever National Reiki Awareness Day. Reiki practitioners from the Australian Reiki Connection Inc. gave ‘taster treatments’ in a variety of locations such as shopping centres, supermarkets, garden centres and country fairs. Due to the success and positive feedback, the event was extended to run for one week.
From Monday, 19 May to Saturday, 25 May, we will, for the fourth year, be facilitating Australia wide National Reiki Awareness Week. Many Reiki Practitioners throughout Australia will be inviting the community to experience Reiki, enabling them to gain a clearer understanding through personal experience the benefits of Reiki.
During this week, Jacqueline Turnbull will be offering 30 minute Reiki sessions for a donation to Save the Children.
For more information and in order to guarantee your 30 minute Reiki session, telephone Jacqueline on 9838 3940 / 04 3979 0891.
