Hello everyone

NEW EXECUTIVE MEMBER
The RRCC would like to welcome Niels Verhaar as he has been voted in as an executive member of the RRCC. Niels is doing a lot of work for the chamber at the moment along with other members of the chamber for the Wings and Wheels event and the Community bank project, and now on the executive committee.
The RRCC always welcomes anyone wishing to become an executive member of the committee and be a part of a proactive community organisation for business.

NEW MEMBERS
The RRCC would also like to welcome the Hopetoun Progress Association and the Ravensthorpe Building Supplies as new members – Welcome!

PROJECTS
The Sporting event is now postponed until next year. The Wings and Wheels Steering Committee is underway and anyone wishing to support or assist with this event please contact Niels Verhaar on 0439 525 526.

EVENTS
The RRCC proposes to hold a Resource dinner on the 2nd October 2008. This event will be an opportunity for all local businesses to meet key stakeholders and for the mining sector to give an update on their progress so far. We are also looking at the possibility of having a Merit Award for local business.
There may be an opportunity in August/September to have a dinner or breakfast and invite a couple of speakers. If you have any specific requests for speakers or topics please let Sharon know on 0409 370 625.

BOOK-KEEPER/ADMIN PERSON
The RRCC has advertised for a book-keeper/admin person as we do not have a treasurer and have not had one for some time. Now that the chamber is taking on a few major projects it will require a qualified book-keeper and someone to assist with the administration of these projects. If you are interested and would like to know more please call Sharon Verhaar on 0409 370 625.

TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT FOR EVENTS WORKSHOP
Western Australia’s vast road network provides the opportunity for organisations and community groups to stage events on roads for the benefit of the public at large. Such events need to be managed in a way that ensures safety for all involved, and minimises disruptions to the normal daily usage and function of our road network.
Esperance Volunteer Resource Centre is seeking expressions of interest for “Traffic Management for Events” course. We would like to offer this course to community groups at a very low cost, hopefully free.  Many groups now require applying the “Traffic Management For Events” Code of Practice during some of their community events. Some examples of these groups would be: Running club, Tri Club, Cycling Club, Christmas pageant, Parades and many more. The course would be in Esperance and could be on a weekend to suit volunteers. Main Roads WA has accredited providers from Perth and we would use one of them. At this stage we are seeking interest from the Esperance and surrounding Communities.
All organisations and individuals associated with event management on or near roads are encouraged to let us know if they would benefit from this course or please forward this email to an organisation that would.
Regards
Chantal Spittle

Experience the Power of the MasterMind!
A Unique Opportunity for Personal & Business Development
A 10-Week Study Specifically for Business Leaders
If you had the opportunity to study the thinking of one of the master thinkers alive today would you take it?
If that very same opportunity allowed you to share ideas, goals, challenges and
develop potential profitable relationships with like-minded business leaders, would you take it?
During this dynamic, FREE 10-week study, you will learn how to apply to your life and business with the foundational principles of Bob Proctor’s number one selling book, “You Were Born Rich!”
This ten-week, in depth study will afford you the opportunity to join forces and
mastermind with a unique group of like-minded individuals who are focused on taking the results, in every area of their life, to a new level.
Together, you will learn how to achieve your goals by understanding your relationship with money, how much is enough, the image-maker, how to let go and let God, how to expect an abundance, the law of vibration and attraction, the risk-takers, the razor’s edge, how to not think in reverse, and the vacuum law of prosperity as taught by Bob Proctor himself.
The results will astound you as you watch the lives and businesses of your MasterMind group improve from one week to the next.
“Change is constant and inevitable, but personal growth is a choice.” Bob Proctor
